Felucca Tours - True Dream Egypt

Day 6: Breakfast, sailing all the day, along the most beautiful landscape. In the way we will stop for a walk on Bachir hills and we may meet some villagers to know how they live. Lunch on board - continue sailing to Fars Island and stop again to have a walk on the Island. Dinner and overnight before Edfu.

Day 7: Arrival Edfu , breakfast, visit Hours Temple. Afterwards drive to Luxor and visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples . Overnight in the hotel.

Day 8: Breakfast , transfer to Luxor Airport for final departure.

Course of the day during a Felucca - Cruise
A felucca provides space for 10 persons. The foot well between the benches is used as a storage for the luggage which is covered with planks to sit on. Mats allow to sit or lay comfortably. Cruising prevails for the whole day starting 8:00 a.m., except for a stop taken for lunch and one hour before sunset. The food is taken in the same style as the Safari, that means strongly flavored according to Nubian-Upper Egyptian taste. For breakfast there are occasionally beans with eggs or eggs with tomato sauce. For overnight, the deck is covered and surrounded by a tent-like curtain, which is left open at one side to allow in oxygen.

Important information: Our felucca-cruise depends on the strength of the winds. Therefore the plans of the last two days could be altered according to the wish of the guests and an agreement between the group and the tour guide. The guests get their own sleeping bags and assist in preparing meals.

Day 1: Arrival at Cairo International Airport , meet and assist by True Dream Representative, transfer to hotel, overnight.

Day 2: Breakfast , visit the Pyramids and their guardian Sphinx. Afternoon sightseeing tour to Egyptian Museum of Antique and Khan El- Khalely Bazaar. Back to the hotel, overnight.

Day 3: Breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport and fly to Aswan, visit the High Dam, unfinished obelisk and the traditional Bazaar. Transfer to your Felucca , Lunch on the board, start our felucca tour around the Aawan Islands with a view over Agha Khan mausoleum and the Kitchener Island. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4: Breakfast , sailing north through the green fields. In the way to Kom Ombo, we sail between the sedgy small Nile Islands which are used as cattle ranges. Lunch on board, we will stop for a walk along a canal and through a beautiful village nearby Sheikh Fadl, overnight on Board.

Day 5: Breakfast, arrival to Komombo and visit the Temple shared by two gods Sobek & Harroris , lunch on board. Afterwards sailing, dinner on board and overnight.
